Palestine Emergency

THE PEOPLE OF PALESTINE NEED US NOW MORE THAN EVER
Recent escalation of violence in Gaza, Palestine has led to airstrikes that have injured hundreds and killed more than 35 people including 9 children.
We urgently need your help to deliver urgent medical supplies to support an overstretched healthcare system.
As our brothers and sisters in Palestine observed the holy month of Ramadan, they also faced each injuries and violence. Airstrikes are expected to continue which will only impact an already dire humanitarian situation.
Prophet Muhammad SAW said: “Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.”
(Al-Tirmidhi)
Small Change Big Difference
More than 1.5 million Palestinians are food insecure, and lack the resources to put substantial meals on the table.
The suffering continues for the people of Palestine as hunger, poverty, conflict and a global pandemic continue to add significant strain on an already ailing economy.
The population continues to face significant humanitarian and protection challenges that include a continuing need to support more than two million Palestinians experiencing a constant threat to survival in the form of conflict, violence, displacement, and a denial of access to employment livelihoods and education.
More than 50% of the population is unemployed and nearly 2.1 million people, the entire population of Gaza, are at risk of contracting waterborne diseases such as diarrhoea and dehydration due to a water crisis created by the ongoing blockade.
As the West Bank is almost fully dependent on some form of humanitarian aid for survival, experts say that the coronavirus pandemic has only compounded the dire economic problems in Gaza, with more than 2 million Palestinians under blockade since 2007, leaving eighty percent of Gazans also dependant on some form of humanitarian aid.

MORE ON THE SITUATION
