Safe water for 300 families

Before this project, women and children in Tharparkar spent hours walking under the sun to collect water from brackish wells. The lack of clean water led to health issues and kept children out of school.

The new solar-powered filtration system uses renewable energy to pump and clean ground water. Villagers now have direct access to safe drinking water at multiple distribution taps throughout the village.

This stable water access has allowed the community to establish small home gardens, improving nutrition and support for local livestock.
