It takes a village to raise our Youth
We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Silah Institute and AIES Australian Islamic Education Services (ANIC) to launch a continuous campaign aimed at supporting teachers who dedicate and volunteer their time to teach Islamic scripture in Public High Schools. By working together, we aim to ensure that every public school has access to qualified Islamic educators, offering our youth the spiritual guidance they need. For over four decades, the Special Religious Education (SRE) program has enabled countless brothers and sisters to volunteer their time, offering invaluable guidance to young Muslims in public schools. However, the current shortage of qualified Islamic teachers is limiting the educational and spiritual growth of many students each week. With the prevailing atmosphere of misinformation, it’s crucial that we, as a community, support this program and help guide our youth.
Not everyone can volunteer and teach, but you can still make a difference by contributing financially to this essential and obligatory dawah. By supporting the cause, you will play a vital role in guiding our youth towards the light of Allah SWT.
Our youth’s spiritual growth is a collective responsibility, and it takes an entire community to raise a child. By collaborating and supporting this campaign, we are providing our young Muslims with the tools and guidance they need to navigate the challenges of today’s world.
